Senior Patrol
Leader Duties
Note: If you
don’t complete all these duties, you will not be able to use the leadership
position for rank advancement.

Preside at all
troop meetings, activities, and semi-annual program planning conferences.

Chair the
patrol leaders’ council.

Name appointed
boy leaders with the advice and consent of the Scoutmaster

Assign duties
and responsibilities to other leaders.

Work with the
Scoutmaster in training junior leaders.

Attend 4
monthly troop campouts out of 6 campouts. To get credit for attending a
campout, you must be at the campout for a total of 24 hours. This allows you
to leave a typical campout for up to 19 hours for another activity.

Attend the
Monday meetings regularly – attend at least 2 out of every 3 Monday meetings.
Arrive at the meetings at least 15 minutes early and stay until the closing.

Attend the PLC
meetings – attend at least 4 out of 6 PLC meetings.

Set a good
example.

Wear the
uniform correctly.

Live by the
Scout Oath and Law.
